hear a lot of talk lately about how if you want to hire someone you checkout their myspace, facebook etc. well i how do you do that if its set to private? ok i don't know a lot about myspace, other than you can set it to private; however i know on facebook you can even make yourself unsearchable, so how do you find that person? also on facebook you can hide pictures, wall posts, status, etc. so can you get past that? i mean i thought facebook was privacy proof? why would they give you all those options if its not?
Many employers will check these things.. sites like that have differing levels of being locked. sometimes you don't have to be the person's friend to see pics.. employers are usually looking for the pics of the kegstands and bong rips. but if you keep it completely private and don't put a naughty pic for your main profile pic you should be alright.
They can ask for the candidate's permission to view private pages.

Nobody is going to help you with this. Try posting your personal email address and asking for people to send you spam and to get you on some mailing lists, I'm sure you will get much better results.

Put a picture you find on the web that represents something to you, or go to a friends myspace and they could have pictures of you and use that pic, and you could edit it on photobucket.

Just got a new myspace today, and i want to switch back to myspace 1.0.

So, i go under edit, "customize profile" and click "Switch back to 1.0" but it does not do this, it just stays at 2.0. Is there anything i can do to fix this? Or is 1.0 offically gone from my new account now?

i have the answer!!! make a blog nd u can jus put like anything as long it has a title nd nd sumthing in it. then after u post it, go back to customize profile nd click on 1.0 again nd it should work it worked 4 me nd i friend i did it 4!

Hide interest section titles (put under "about me"):

Just don't fill them in , and they'll stay empty. but if you have the section filled with codes it will show..

well first of all, who used MySpace anymore?

The black stripped background, although looks good, makes the site a little bit mind bending when you scroll

The music, although i am sure you like it, sometimes distracts people viewing your page from their own music

And the main header bar with home, browse, find people is hard to read, its too light, and the font is hard to see
I like it. It's simple and clean.

But with comment buttons like those, you have to always make sure they're working.
Pretty good.

I added these pics of waves that are just beautiful to my myspace pics. I of course didn't take them. I named the album cover incredible waves by, the photographers name here". Is that ok. Im defiantly not selling them or anything just want to use as a default pic. Is it ok?
