he is going to be living with his grandpa and is wanting 50 bucks a month to survive like, food money, clothes, etc. for doing a bunch of chores, and taking care of his grandpa?
It depends. If he is going to have to provide all his own food and clothes, $50 a month is a little low.
If someone is providing most of the food for the household and the $50 is mainly for his own snacks and his clothing, it's actually a decent amount.
its decent, it really isn't too much for a teenager but he can survive off of it…food is a big part of i, from what I see most will be spent on food…in my house I have 1 brother and sister and then of course me (i'm 16), our food bill was 500 a month now down to 340 because the state cut our funding. Then clothes cost quite a bit due to all the designer clothes now a days. I see 50 dollars as low but due able…will teach him how to manage his money…school lunch gets you too I think its 1.80 here in Florida and cost even more if you buy all the good food…but that can be avoided by bringing a lunch…i don't bring lunch sense I get lunch for free due to my family's low income
