How much money do you have saved, how old r u and what position are you in. Which means do you pay rent, are you making payment on a house, are you paying for car insurance and car payments. Yes me im all and i dont have basically any in savings due to paycheck to paycheck. I have worked since 18 and saved 150 dollars
i have two bank accounts. one for taking money out for any occasion and the other for big bills like my car.
i make about 8.50 an hour and live at home since im going to high school. i dont have any money saved for anyting because really i have everything i want right now. an ipod (touch) a good cell phone (helio fin) with a good cell plan(virgin moble). a nice car (05 mazda3). and i buy clothes and equipment for school and athletics so i dont have any money really to save up anymore with all the bills.

For somebody who's worked for four years, that's not much of a cushion to have built. I saved about $1500 a year when I started working. Of course, maybe you live where rent is high, or have expenses I didn't, like a family.
