There are a lot of good people in the world. But it just seems like everyday there is someone who wants to ruin my day. What's your experience?
Oh yeah, they are out there by the tons. I have always found, that if you smile a lot and just ignore their meaness it goes away. I wanted to kill them inside me, but I kept on smiling. I never let them know they got my goat.never take it personal.. some people are just A**holes
Hello Joe S!

When you get up in the morning and go to the bathroom and look yourself in the mirror - Do you see a rude person? or Do you see a person who is willing to assist those who are having a bad day and try to make it a little bit better for them?

My point is this - whether you work with the public because you have to or because you want to, you still should provide the best customer service you can with sincerity and feel good about it, if you don't feel good about yourself after you provided customer service, perhaps you should change careers! Lead By Example!

Good Luck!!
Depends on where you work, I work at a Arts & Crafts store and sometimes face those not so pleasant customers, best advice would be to just put on a smile or just try to stay calm, there is no positive from getting frustrated by it. Just do your job to the best ability that you can. I have heard how Starbucks can be a real pain with customers, especially early morning shifts. If you see you can't put up with work like this consider finding a job where you can work away from people.
