So i bought the stock TTM way before the ex dividend date and I haven't received the dividends yet for that quarter. It's been almost 2 weeks since it was supposed to be distributed. Why didn't i get it? I use an online broker, Bank of America Investments, and I checked everything and i don't see anything about the dividends i was supposed to get. Since it's an online broker, do i receive my dividends in the mail or do the directly put it into my brokerage accounts? I'm kind of new to stocks so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Dividend pay date for that stock is Aug 25th.

depending on the terms of the stock the company does not have to give you anything.
In other words. You should probably ask if the agreements of your purchase entitled you to MANDATORY dividends from the company.
Otherwise they can do whatever the hell they want.
Most companies take part in the latter. The reason they still give dividends is to keep their shareholders happy enough to buy and invest more. But once again… keep in mind that they are doing this by choice.
normally dividends are paid 3-4 weeks after the ex div date check the company site when do they actually pay the divi if its passed chase the broker to see why its not come through
but if its this firm TTM Technolgies Inc. (NASDAQ:TTMI) then they dont have divi unless the site i am using is incorrect
