I'm a job seeker and for the most part of my job seeking endeavour almost all the interviewers have asked me to INTRODUCE MYSELF to him/her.
My question is: What are the things that I can say when I am introducing myself?
*Do I need to tell him my age, address, religion, political leaning, etc?
I would really appreciate it if you can give me a sound sequence of topics that I can talk about.
Thanks.
Do NOT say anything personal like your age, religion, etc. An interview has to be strictly professional, so you want to talk about your skills, abilities, goals, and achievements.
Example is: "I just graduated from [name of school] with a degree in [major], and my major opened my eyes to [field of work you're applying to] which I began to grow a deep passion for. All throughout school, I worked a lot while studying, so I definitely know how to manage my time and stress. Being out of school now, I would love an opportunity to learn more about this industry with a very distinct firm like yours."
The link below will answer your question greatly. Good luck.
