I live in a small industrial town in Australia where there are not many "female" jobs.
It is a big struggle finding something i enjoy and usually lose interest in jobs quickly because I have just taken them to be employed.
I have thought of study as an option, and enrolled in a bachelor of business course.. but it is so hard to study and work full time.
I would like to do something that can include things i love to do… so its not a pain in the butt to get up every morning and go off to a job i hate.
I am very creative, and love to help people and am very compassionate. I love fashion and talking to people, and love to decorate.. I like to travel, i like to plan parties, and i think importantly i love to see a result.. i dislike working day in and day out doing the same boring thing, i like to see things come together and physically see what i have spent all my time and hard work on.!!
Can anyone think of a profession that would suit me.. I would like to do a short course in something, like one year or something, but as long as it is something i can see myself doing.
I have thought about opening an event planning store, but as we are in a GFC its hard to get funds, and harder to get people to spend. I live in a fairly small town, of about 50,000.. so it has to be something that would work.. something that people would spend on. here its mostly males and i figure they wouldnt really be interested in "party planning"
Any ideas…..?
Since you love to plan and have a great personality, I'd suggest any of the following:
1) Wedding/Party Planning
Even though the male population is greater, there are bound to be parties and some men are too busy or lazy to plan for themselves.
2) Interior Decorating/Planning
If anyone needs a renovations anywhere, you can help them design and plan. Just take a few courses, learn a few things for the trade (about 2 years depending on level of expertise), and voila! You can start your own business!
3) Logo/Sign Planning
No matter what, stores/businesses will need signs and logos. You can help design them and see the results as you pass the store each time!
Good luck!
military has lost of jobs and any Field in civilian life that army has it
be a babysitter they make good moneyz
I think party planning is a very good idea for you. If maybe that isn't it exactly, try just being a wedding planner…weddings will never go out of style, people will always be getting married.
If anything, don't cross of the option of moving somewhere else where your services would be appreciated. Why exactly do you have to be stuck in this town?
dont chase a job. wait for a job to come to u ^-^
just spend an entire week walking through the streets that u are familiar with. and look for a wanted sigh. =] make sure that the schedule that fits u. and that the job is good for u that u can actually handle.
the money for a month should be enough that u can have a good life. look through the papers. and make sure that u spend the money u earn wisely. make sure that u dont spend the first 3 months of money u earn. =P make sure that the balance of the money for a month is about 500$ and then work ur way up. make sure that u save the money. and look for a job that u are good at or u can actually have a day off. make sure u go to collage too
