Im 14 I have very good knowledge of computers, i.e building pcs
cracking software, dual booting operating systems. And I was wondering what should I learn on computers I.E Visual Basic,HTML/Dreamweaver, Java. Could Anyone suggest something?
Right, first off, there's no right or wrong way of coding, there are only solitions! So writing a piece of code in C will not work any differently then it being wrote in VB!
Also, what are you wanting to write, and executable application or a web site?
Application
VB is generally seen as an easier language to learn and C/C is considered a more powerful language to achieve certain tasks. For example, you won't see many fast-action games written in VB, but you will see them in C/C .
Web sites
HTML and CSS are for the visual font end, then something like Javascript and/or ASP (VB or C ) back ends for you database functionality…
I would recomend learning VB to get you started, easily to learn and will teach you the principles of programming! once you have the concept, you can more onto different language without it being such a strugle!
Any more questions please feel free to email me

I would first suggest learning HTML while staying away from dreamweaver or any other WYSIWYG editor. I use notepad to code all my sites. After that, I would get familiar with CSS as you can do amazing things with just a few lines of code.
PHP is the programming language I'm currently trying to learn and it's pretty straightforward and has many possibilities when combined with MySQL.
Good luck!
Meaning you want to become a programmer?
Have lot of languages to learn but I suggest:
- For System: c, c , delphi, visual basic
- For web application: PHP MySQL, ASP, ASP.NET MSSQL and HTML of course.

Hi Buddy,
It depends on your interest:
Programming -> C, C , Java
Graphics & Designing -> Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash
Your basics must be very clear before proceeding with anything and you should start with programming(C Language)
