Ok…well…the computer you pick out is a very good computer, it has windows vista, which is the newest version of windows, and its also very user friendly. The computer also has a 64-bit operating sistem which isn't the best, but its still good…And it has a webcam and speakers so you and your friends can chat as much as you want. I think this computer is very good and now I think I might get this because i too was looking for a laptop. I hope I helped
But the price is 550$, so its a bit out of the price range, but i bet if you look this computer up on amazon.com or something you'll find a good offer.
Yes. This computer does have a Speaker. But, I would recommend a Macbook. Now, they start at $1000. But, it is not that hard to find a used Macbook Air online for as little as $600 You could even find an good used Macbook for as little as $400. That way, you could use the video camera and talk to friends for free. With that computer that you are looking at, Windows will require you to buy time. Apple's iChat is completely free, and extremely easy to use.
Hi Tanya,
If you spend $100 more then your budget you can get this very good laptop for chatting on webcam.

Nice Laptop, though might want to look into the pixel quality on the webcam.
