hi, i just bought a mac for college and i was wondering how i can transfer my Itunes library from my pc to my new mac….please help!!!!
On the PC:

1. Open iTunes and Deauthorize the PC by going to the "Store" menu at the top and clicking "Deauthorize Computer…" This is a necessary step only if you purchased any content from the iTunes store.

2. Quit iTunes.

3. Open the "My Music" Folder from the start menu.

4. Copy the "iTunes" folder from computer to an external hard drive or other form of storage.

5. Connect the storage device to the Mac.

On the Mac:

6. Open the storage device on the Mac and drag the iTunes folder to the Music folder. The Music folder is inside the Home folder.

7. When you open iTunes, Authorize the computer if you had any purchased content from the iTunes store by clicking on the "Store" menu and selecting "Authorize Computer…".
