Wow the first interview ive had in a whole year since my last job.I stopped phoning for jobs for about 2 months then all of a sudden i decided to phone for one today and to my amazement she arranged me an interview straight away. Its nothing special its only 16 hours per week 7am-9am
Finally i can start getting my life back together,im confident i will get the job because ive never failed to get the job in past interviews. However theres always a first time, ive been waiting so long for a job and if i dont get the job i'll be gutted.
Will you wish me luck? Any advice to guarantee i get the job? Thanks
Awww that's wicked Paul! I'm really pleased for you babe…I'll be praying that you get it. This is a sign and a chance to turn your life around…I wish you all the luck in the world.
Just remember, if you feel like your life is headed downward, it's only a sign that something exciting is about to happen! It can only go up! << That's what I keep telling myself. The future is bright
well done for the interview- youve already sold yourself to get that far… so i would look up the job interview questions for the job you rapplying for, think of questions to ask at the end, makes you look interested. any have some background knowledge of the company your interviewing for, and be confident (but not overly), be smiley and try to be relaxed…easier said than done- but good luck let us know how you get on
Well Im sure you didn't apply to work for a supermarket, Petsmart, Boscov's, Starbucks, or a restaurant. You can never rely on those places to hire you, even if your clean, well dressed, calm, and redy to learn the job.
Paul's a great name. I would just go in feeling confident. Express your desire to have the job, but don't come off as desperate.
Also, follow up with AT LEAST an email. I like to hand write letters after meeting in an interview.
Good luck!!!!

Best of luck to you but I'm a bit confused as to how two hours a day can add up to a 16hr week?

first of all …. if you dont get it dont be gutted .. theys always another job to replace that one! … way it goes in career world.
you pick yourself back up and go for next one …. you only got this one because you made effort by phoning for a change …. carry on like that and they be more interviews .. trust me … opportunities dont come to you you go to them
tips
1. make sure you dress appropriate for job description e.g if office … black trousers n shirt … if supermarket .. bit more casual but at same time professional
2. do some research on the company.. it scores browny points at an interview shows you have a genuine interest in working for them … impresses employers alot ..shows initiative too!
3. smile … not creepy but genuine .. it shows employer your friendly and welcoming
4. make sure you got your directions correct and you know full well where you going and make sure your on time! if not ten minutes before .. ten mins before is good because theyll see your punctual then
5. read through word for word your cv …take a copy of your cv with you to the interview .. when they ask you questions then you can refer back to your cv
6. dont bother practising what you going to say back to questions because it never works that way .. either they change questions or they do it a whole other way round .. youll just get nervous and mess up answers
7. if you dont understand anything he or she says just be honest and ask nicely if can repeat that again please … if you dont know it be honest
8.dont be too nervous .. i know easier said than done right? … but if your too nervous youll mess your answers up
9. DONT ask about salary until they do .. its a real put off straight away it shows you just bothered about money ….( yeah thats what a job is about but they need to know you going to do well in the job) so dont ask first .. always let them ask first .. also if they ask about where you would like to be in 5/10 years … lie n say i would like to have progressed into a higher position suitable for me within your company gaining success .. its bollox and they know it but it still gets browny points
10. if you speak to anybody else going for same interview and they seem more suitable for job than you DONT get intimidated … remember they in same position as you going for the interview .. doesnt mean theyll get it … interviewer might see something more in you than in them
i can tell your confident already … confidence plays a biggg part in an interviewer but be careful not to come across arrogant instead of confident!
good luck and i hope you get it
xx
don't act over confident and don't get too nervous.
remember the basics 'do's and don'ts ' at interviews and being successful.
walk in and greet both interviewers with a smile, handshakes etc.
dont just sit down without being asked to. Wait for them to say 'please sit down/take a seat' heh
when you do, dont cross your arms or fidget too much.
dont scratching your head or run your hand down your freshly shaved face. For goodness sakes dont show up with stubbled face.
just answer their questions as honestly as you can, if they question and itnerrogate you about something negative - turn that into an oppertunity to boast about some strenght you have.
all in all - good luck mate.
10 points for me ?
