Nicotine gum is a good way to quit smoking. I heard rumors that in the early 90s the gum had a nasty taste. Is this true? Does it taste better now? (I used gum to quit) I taste no difference between Nicerette and regular gum.
The cheap nicotine gum has a weak flavor to it compared to nicerette.
Not sure if it's improved. I do know that Nicorette tastes OK and at least one cheap brand is really foul tasting because I tried both a few years ago. I like the Commit nicotine lozenges best, by the way, they're easier to use and your jaw doesn't get tired from chewing.
I quit twice. Once with the nasty tasting gum, and second time with the flavored gum. I like the nasty stuff better as it was eashy to quit it, but it took years to quit the tasty gum.
