i want to be a psychiatrist but it takes 13 years. i also want a child very bad, but my doctor says that im all but infertile and have a very smal window for having children. she said i will probably be barren by the time i am twenty five. if im a psychiatrist, iw otn be out of school til i am 31. what should i do?
First off, get a second opinion. Second, you need to follow your heart. I knew a few people personally that had kids and finished school (medical school also) but they were also married and must support from their family members. If all else fails you can always adopt or have somebody else carry your child for you!
Cheers!
I started out college planning to go straight through and go to medical school. Well, life happened and I ended up having two kids along the way. I love them and I didn't want to miss all of their years when they are young, so I decided the long haul to being an OB/GYN wasnt worth it, at least not now. I am working on a Bachelors in Chemistry now, and there is a possibility I may try to go after my kids grow up. My advice is to try and have the kids. School will always be there. You could do a related field like being a therapist for awhile and go back to psychiatry after you have your kids. I stress all the time on what my next move should be but in the long run, everything will work out. Good Luck!
Well, considering you'll be making enough money with an MD, you'll have lots of options.
I would see if there was a way I could freeze some eggs or something, but the implantation process costs a bundle per trial.
if all else fails, you should be in a good enough financial position to adopt.
filled online compaint with sbi but no reply.Bank manager is not cooperating and passing the buck to other.
Write to State Bank of India Ombudsman regarding your query. The full details of SBI Ombudsman are available in their Official website. Writing to Ombudsman is as good as writing your query to the Human rights commission. Be sure to act fast and get your TDS certificate before the due date.
Hi Dear
Have you any documentry proof? if not make a file write to the manager get the acknowledgement of the letter then you can proceed further. Or seek information under RTI Act
also in my account i have a plus savers account aswell as my normal current account, what is a plus savers account
thanks
an overdraft is when you charge more than you have….for example…
You buy a 13 dollar cd and use your debit which is tied to your bank account but you only have 10 dollars in your account….you just over drafted three dollars. You will usually have to pay a big fee like 50 bucks for every ten dollars…It is also the same as bouncing a check…(when you write a check for more than you have in your account)
A plus savers account is PROBABLY a savings account with a higher interest rate. Usually banks have different types of saving accounts and you probably a higher one…that is good but their might be a monthly fee or a minimum balance you must have,
Your best bet is to go and talk to your bank about the different terms their ALWAYS happy to help their customers.
My husband and I filed yesterday. We are surrendering our home because he is unemployed and we can no longer afford the payment. We are moving on to my my parents property and they are building an addition on to their home for us. Since we have already filed, can we now begin to use our money in any way we need to, without worrying about the trustee questioning us? We want to help buy building materials and things for the new addition and once we move in within the next few months we will be paying rent to my parents. Is it only what you have in your accounts on the day you file that matters? Or do they look at your accounts and spending after that date as well? Also, we are using our own money from my husband's uemployment checks, not credit cards or loans or anything.
Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a liquidation proceeding in which the debtor's non-exempt assets, if any, are sold by the Chapter 7 trustee and the proceeds distributed to creditors. You can't touch the non-exempt. Generally in consumer cases, all the assets are exempt, and therefore there are no assets to liquidate and there is no dividend to creditors.
I work for like a month at minimum wage in Michigan?
i think minimum wage is like $7 and somethin cents a day. but i have no idea what it will be for a month. YOU KNOW HOW GREAT I AM WIF MATH!!!!!
O.k, my brother in law is selling his car to me for $1,000 and it is completely paid off so no car payments…I think this is a great deal.
Here is the problem- I don't have a license, though I plan on getting one next month. I am not working right now but I have been filling out tons of applications (no response) I have a little saved in the bank.
If I bought the car plus paid insurance for the next six moths with whats left I should be able to pay rent and bills for about 2 months. But I will be able to get around better and look for jobs further out with a car.
If I didn't buy the car then I will be able to pay my rent and bills for 4-5 months which saves me some more time while I'm looking for a job.
I am so confused should I buy the car or not and why?
on a side note if you guys have any suggestions about working from home that would be great (legit income please)
also I am not totally comfortable behind the wheel but I really need to get over that and become mobile…I need help on sooo many levels
SORRY I KNOW THIS IS A VERY LONG EXPLANATION BUT I WANTED YOU GUYS TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THANKS IN ADVANCE…10 POINTS TO THE MOST DETAILED ANSWERS TO ALL MY QUESTIONS!!!
This is a bit tricky. On the one hand having transportation can be a great asset, especially when searching for a job. On the other hand, buying said vehicle you are banking on being able to get a job in the next month. Mass transit could be a solution, if you have mass transit in your area, but getting to job interviews in a timely manner using mass transit is not always possible. Would your brother in law be willing to give you a grace period on buying the car? Or would he accept payments instead of one sum, giving you a little more of a grace period to find a job?
You say you have gotten no responses from your applications. Make sure to call back or visit your prospective employer the next day after an application and every few days thereafter until you get a response. Let them know you mean business, are motivated and want that job.
Working from home is a possibility. However, some jobs require you to put in lots of time with little net income. Others take time to build up and develop marketing strategies and a network of people you can prospect and sell to. Making enough money to make a difference in just a month or two is virtually unheard of. Not impossible, but you must really know what you are doing to be able to make this happen so quickly. For most people a large learning curve exists as well as time to develop a strong network of people.
Finally, there is really only one way to become comfortable behind the wheel and that is to actually get behind the wheel and encounter situations for you to develop trust in yourself and your vehicle.
In short, I would buy the vehicle with the hopes of putting off full or all of the payment until a job is secured. I would also concentrate all of my efforts on finding a job as quickly as possible, as even 5 months is a relatively short amount of time.
First of all, you can not get insurance unless you have a license. Plus there is no guarantee you'll have a job in the near future. As stated, if you have mass transit, you do not need a car. Also remember if the car breaks down, that could cost you a few hundred dollars. Even if you need a new battery, you're lookin at $100. Think very carefully before you do this because once you do it, there's no turning back.

Cons
—————
If you want to succeed in online learning you need to be committed, motivated, and self-disciplined because you will be the one responsible for setting the pace of your learning experience and assignment completion. You will be responsible for signing into your online classroom and keeping up. You will be responsible for prioritizing your time so that you make time for your online classes. As with everything else of value in life, you get out of it what you put into it.
One convenient way of earning a nursing degree is through online schools. You have the luxury of going through the lessons at your own pace and in your own home. There are lots of online sites nowadays that offer nursing programs so better be sure that the one you choose is legitimate and actually is accredited.
The only downside I can see is that if you are used to the traditional way of education then it would take some time for you to get acquainted with this system.
The good thing is that it is more of a personalized type of education, its like taking the course where you are just the student. This in effect would maximize the retention of newly learned ideas and procedures.
The pros are that you have more flexibility of scheduling and your personal life. You can also select long distance schools. Plus it's usually cheaper.
The cons are that you will have less interaction with the professors, less opportunities building networks, and less program selections.
Cons…. the whole idea of earning a degree online is a con. If you want to do nursing attend a nursing school or college otherwise you are just throwing your money away. You will need hands on experience and no one is going to hire someone who hasn't had some real training.
I have a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training (but did not take NATA test) and a masters degree in Teaching.
I have been a PE teacher for the last 9 years.
pinkypinkerson, I had some serious back pain last year, but I was able to get a great phyical therapist that helped me quite a bit. Try finding a Florida physical therapist to help answer your questions. http://www.physicaltherapyreview.com/Florida-Physical-Therapy.html
You would have to graduate from a physical therapy assistant program, which results in a two-year degree. Then you would have to take an exam for licensure in that state.
i"m considering bankruptsy,we have alot of medical expenses.we can't afford bill"s anymore.
There are not new laws but there are some new thresholds. There are many considerations before bankruptcy. Without details like if you pay a mortgage on a home, your age, your dependents and if you have set up a payment plan for the medical. They have to take a payment plan that you can afford. I have included some web sites that I hope provide information for an informed decision.
Of a legal typing test?? Also they require proficiency in Corel Word Perfect for Office. What?? I haven't use WP since 1996 - have Windows Office 2007 XP. How do I prepare and land this job?
They want to be sure you recognize and correctly spell legal terms. Can you get your hands on a legal dictionary and study up a bit so that you won't get the words confused?
Corel Word Perfect is not so very different from MS Office, so you can probably deal with that. However, this office is very outdated if they are still using WP; they will probably upgrade to MS Word before long then you will be right at home. If this is brought up during the interview, be sure to stress that you are already trained in MS Office - this might be the selling point.
The most important thing an employer wants is someone who will earnestly do a good job; be on time; and be positive. If you can show these in the interview, you will be in the running
