Yes, as long as you have got money in the debit card you should be fine.
No it doesn't come out automatically, it takes about 3 working days for the payment to leave your bank account even when paying by card but your account ablance will show that the card payment has been taken but doesn't in affect actually leave your bank for a few days. A bank can't process money coming and going that quickly.
no it doesn't come out of your a/c straight away…
the banks don't have that kind of facility…
What will happen is, within a few hours of you using your card your available balance will be affected…
then a few days later-depending on who you bank with your balance will be affected..

Usually takes a couple of days to come out of bank account i think, but to be on safe side i'd always make sure you have the funds in there on the day you make the paypal purchase. I pay with my debit card through paypal all the time - never check my bank account though, cos usually makes me cry!!
